Ann Takes LA

8:40 PM

Hello Lovlies,

I have a very lengthy art assignment due that required a paper comparing 2 buildings in Downtown LA. Therefore, this calls for a subway adventure! My boyfriend and I have always what we call "subway adventures" which consist of purchasing a day pass and going where ever we desired. I absolute love the subway, however, I do wish it was just a tad but cleaner.

We first decided to go and see Grand Central Market. To my surprise everything was so clean, I thought it was going to be dirty because, let's be honest, the surroundings aren't too great. There were many restaurants, all unique in their very own way. People bombarded the isle, everywhere you turned there was a person standing there, very chaotic ambience. We decided to eat at "EGGSLUT" there is so much hype about this restaurant so we wanted to try it out. When we first went into GCW the line was so long it seemed never ending. When we went the second time the line was bearable so we decided to wait.

FOOD REVIEW:

The hype surrounding Egg Slut is ridiculous. Not too sure if it's the name or the actual food but to be honest, it's not that great. We waited about 30 minutes to order, it would have been about an hour if we stood in line when we first got to GCM. A breakfast burger is about 6-7 dollars and a cheeseburger was $9 with optional add ons. Do yourself the favor and just head over to McDonald's adjacent to it and get a deluxe meal. It's not that the food is horrible, it's just there is way too much hype surrounding this place. I could EASILY make myself a breakfast sandwich just like theres, if not, better and tastier. It's just a basic sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Nothing out of the ordinary. However, props to the marketing team/ employee for marketing this place, I could only imagine all the money they make.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading

xoxo,
Ann
