So It Goes ♡

If there is something every gal needs in their collection it is a trusty tote bag. The endless possibilities of putting your entire life in a bag is a security blanket for most people, especially me! Tote bags are popping up more than ever now with bloggers/ influencer sporting them on their yacht ride in Positano then jet setting to Paris. Personally, I don't like lugging around a huge bag with me everywhere so I will only restrict my tote bag for traveling. I also don't like that most tote bags don't have zippers ( I mean I know its suppose to be a TOTE but still, it's always good knowing my items are secure.) Even with the huge inconvenience of a tote, they're probably one of my favorite style of bags.

We all know that if we aren't functioning at our fullest ( mentally & physically) our day just seems a little off. I think back to the many times I go in to the ER or Urgent Care and laugh at people that are just there because of a cold/flu. I finally get it. No matter how big or small the problem you should always put your health first.

2018 was a good year but it was pretty rough considering I was in and out the hospital for god knows what and my last bit of patience was wearing thin with school. It was definitely an anxiety ridden year filled with many ups and downs but I aim to make 2019 better than ever! So what are some of my goals for the new year:

Health: I haven't been in the best health for the past couple of years. As a matter of fact it got so bad that I had to take medication for high blood pressure at age 22! So UNCOOL. If you don't really know what high blood pressure is, let me break it down for you. 1. usually old people get it 2. steams from stress (basically just raises the pressure of the blood pumping to your heart, which is a big no no).  Here I am a 22 year old taking medication my PARENTS take. Anyways, seems like I have been putting my health to the side for so long that it finally starting to kick me in the ass and tell me "hey, hi, hello take care of me please." And that is EXACTLY what I am aiming to do in 2019. I've been walking my dog every morning and just that 10 minute walk everyday has helped me significantly. I seriously have to look back at this post often to remind myself to get off my ass from time to time! But heres to amazing health for 2019! WOO!

Youtube: So here's the deal, I used to do Youtube a lot back in the day and I loved it. I love getting creative and letting my creative juices flow. But every since I went to school it seems as though they literally sucked me dry, yeah, NO JUICE LEFT. So every since I've graduated I've just been so clueless on what to upload to Youtube. I want to do ASMR videos because I absolutely LOVE watching those videos but it is a very time consuming process of filming and editing, ( I even bought a mic and everything) but do I want to strictly dedicate a channel to ASMR or do a combination of both. I have no clue but I hope to figure that out soon.

Motivation: Some days I find myself just laying in bed doing absolutely NOTHING. Literally, nothing. It's such a bad habit sometimes because I actually have so much to do or CAN do. However, I just choose to literally lay in bed and scroll through Instagram or Facebook every 10 minutes. Sounds like my life is so boring right!! I actually have a lot I can be doing but I just wish I had the motivation to do it. I need to find a spark or ignite a fire inside me so I can get up and start hustling everyday.

There's obviously a lot more I would love to work on for 2019 but those are some of my main goals. Remember that you are control of your own future. If you don't like something in your life you have the capability to always change it. I wish you guys the best for 2019 and I hope you guys achieve all the goals you want!

4. Small Bags- Out with the backpacks in with the small bags. In my opinion, I feel like backpacks were the "it" item this summer and it's time to say "goodbye" to them and hello to small bags. You can definitely see smaller bags coming out the closet by spotting them on popular Influencers such as Aimee Song and Sincerely Jules. Small bag are practical, lightweight and great for the fall/winter time.                                                                                  Those are 4 tips I have in transitioning your summer wardrobe into fall! OUAI Memory Mist: I recently got back into styling my hair again; therefore, I use a bunch of heat. A BIG NO NO for 1. already dried hair and 2. really thin hair. I try not to use heat often but when I do I liked to spray the Memory Mist Prior to curling or straightening. This product keeps my hair "protected" (so they claim). <-- Can't really say much because I'm no hair expert. But the main reason why I'm obsessed with this product because it's a light product and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and shining.                                                                                                                                 








Milani Baked Blush in Bellisimo: In my eyes the best words to describe summer would be "bronzed AF." This baked blush from Milani is on my top summer must haves because the beautiful glowy bronze it gives my face. The blush itself has a tint of orange with specs of shimmer and it just looks so beautiful on the cheeks. You really don't need a lot for this to show up on the skin as well because, one word, PIGMENTED.

Chanel Chance Perfume: A great summer but still sophisticated perfume would be any of the Chanel Chance perfumes. They're great for summer because they are light and not too over powering. I think there are about 3 or 4 in the line. The pink and green bottles are great for a daytime scent. However, the yellow one in this picture is BOMB for nighttime. It's a bit stronger than the others but it's still light enough for a date night.

Let's be honest for a sec! No one can ever be positive 100% of the time; however, we can try our best to achieve 99.9%. Sometimes, we go through these moods, unexplainable really, but it just happens. It may be the stresses of everyday life, negative thoughts about the future/past, problems that we are currently going through, anxiety and honestly the list goes on and on. Let me start with one thing first and that is to BREATHE. During your time reading this post, I encourage you to breath in and out. See how you feel in the end, I can guarantee you it will be better!

It's safe to say that I love food. I've drove miles and miles for burgers, yes freaking burgers! I find pleasure in scanning through the numerous restaurants on Yelp. I try avoiding being a creature of habit so trying new places is something I love to do.  I've had some hits and misses but I would love to share with you some of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. Well, some of these aren't my ABSOLUTE favorite but definitely worth the try.

Red Moon Lounge: Possibly the best Mediterranean Food I've had. I ordered through UberEats so I've never actually been in the store to tell you about their service. ( I think they serve hookah as well). There basmati rice is so creamy and delicious and the chicken kabob is so soft and tasty. You get huge portions as well.

Kahuna Tiki: This is a fusion Hawaiian/ Japanese restaurant. Although I hate fusion restaurants this one is interesting. I highly recommend their Po Boy Sandwich which is a battered shrimp on a baguette topped with spicy mayo. This is the ONLY thing I would go for. The rest of the menu us ok, it's nothing amazing but this sandwich is literally everything!

Blu Jam Cafe: Their French Toast is amazing! I think they put it in some type of batter that makes it super DUPER crispy! I got their Egg Benedict, which was ok (nothing too special). Their potatoes have an awkward taste, it's bitter but also spicy?? However, I think you should defff try it out!.

More Than Waffles: I've only been to this place once and it was back when I was in high school so it's been a long time coming! But I still can remember the sweet, warm taste of their waffles. They have a variety of toppings and you can also create your own!

JOE PEEPS: Oh gosh besides my favorite pizza place, Fresh Brother's, this is the 2nd best pizza joint (IMO). Their pizza is so delicious and they have a variety of different toppings. They load on your pizzas with these toppings, which can also be bad at the same time, but something about it makes my mouth water!

AYCE Gogi: I typically venture to K-Town for some Korean BBQ but Ayce Gogi is also pretty good. There are a lot of side dish that you can get with the all you can eat option. ( Although they reduced the selection theres still a variety to pick from) The meat is marinated, not as great as some of the ones I've tried in K-Town but it's still pretty food.

Johnny Pacific: This small little restaurant serves the BEST Empanadas in the valley. They have so many different options and I can say right now that you will not regret it! Their sauces are also amazing! ( It wouldn't be rated LA's #1 Empanadas for nothing lol )

Big Fish Japanese Cuisine: Simply, their sushi is BOMB. The atmosphere is dreary but don't let that deter you from trying their food. Food is amazing, but service kinda lacks but either way the food makes up for the service. Try the  fisherman pizza, it is so good!

veStation: Delicious Thai vegetarian food! They have fresh rolls (Buddha Rolls)  that are very delicious. I go for the roti curry dip, which is my favorite from their menu. They have meat substitutes and their curries are pretty good as well.

Cafe de Olla: Although they serve American breakfast foods I would just get the Mexican food. My favorite is their tacos platter, which includes 3 tacos rice and beans. Let me tell you something, I am secretly obsessed with Spanish rice. Something about it just taste so good and Cafe de Olla, NAILED it. Try it out!

CAVA: There are a few locations, I think one is in USC or UCLA but they have one in The Village in Topanga. This place is like the Mediterranean Chipotle. They have falafels, different types of meat and sauces. All just soooo good and flavorful.
